Five Interviews
1. In the interview I found, this freshman environmental science major loved the idea. She claimed that it was a different need from others because of how it has two uses. One being saving the planet and the other is how it helps out in a business manner. The need is different than those who request it.
2. In my second interview I met with this student government leader who thought the idea was great. He liked the need because of its effectiveness on the environment and how much people would use it. Its uses differ from others because of how important it is for the planet. The underlying cause of the outsiders needs are different from others because those already involved don't see the potential.
3. My third interview I met a senior who thought the idea would cost too much money. He didn't like it because of the extra cost of the renewable energy system and he said that if it cost too much for consumers no one would use it. Its uses wouldn't differ from others because renewable energy is already being used. The outsiders needs are not different because this system is already being used.
4. The fourth interview I conducted was with a Junior who was so happy to hear about this idea of investing in renewable energy. He liked it as a business standpoint because technological advances would make it cheaper in the future. He believed that its uses would be different because the government will invest more in renewable energy in the future. The outsider needs are different because they could better utilize renewable energy.
5. The fifth interview I conducted was with a freshman political science major who thought the idea was excellent. He agreed that it was the energy source of the future and that investors would eventually follow the idea. He believed that its uses would be different because of future investors due to government regulations on nonrenewable energy sources. The outsider needs aren't different currently because there are other businesses with these ideas.

ReplyDeleteIt would have been better if you included a short summary on the top of your actual hypothesis statement. With that being said I definitely think that even though it will be costly, the expenses are mainly going to be in the short run with the installation costs and all and also the predictability factor comes in eg wind. But in the long run it would definitely generate a lot more revenue and savings and would definitely be way better for the environment.
