1) The lowest point I have had in this class was when I didn't submit my first elevator pitch. This was the lowest point because the night before the assignment was due I went out to middle town until very late and forgot to submit the assignment the morning after. Overall, this class taught me how to manage my time better. 2) What stuck out to me the most was completing the assignments in the library and how much I miss doing that. Now with Covid-19 I do all my work by myself at home. I miss being able to go to the library and sit with my friends and work at my own pace. Those were by far the most memorable times I have had completing these assignments. 3) I see myself as an entrepreneur because I have learned the important skills that are required by me to succeed in the business world. 4) I would recommend that future students who take this class focus on time management very carefully. 

1) This venture I have selected contains great opportunities for success. There are millions of Americans who want access to clean energy sources and want to support them in order to have a more green environment. By lobbying to government officials asking for incentives for green technology this would not only make people's energy prices go down but it would also save the planet. This could solve some of the major pains that are currently associated with the global warming in the world. Our expectations are to start with a small group that purchases a large plot of land in the suburbs of a large major city and build solar panels. These solar panels should especially be extremely popular in Florida where there is usually a lot of sunlight. Selling these solar panel energy resources to different households could generate substantial income for our company while giving people the option to invest in clean energy at an affordable price. 1) The exit strategy I intend to make with this business would be to monopolize it and pass it down to my children thus creating a fortune for me and my family. 2) I selected this strategy because not too many people have lobbied to congress for these incentives for solar energy and this could lead to a monopoly in the field and make my family very wealthy. 3) This exit strategy has not really made an influence in recognizing another opportunity or anything else in my company.

Used the instructions from Reading Reflection 2 1) The general theme of the book  The Art of Social Media: Power Tips for Power Users, Guy Kawasaki is how powerful the uses of social media can be and how to best use them to your advantage. 2) The book connected to what I am learning in this class because it describes the importance of learning how to connect with people through social media and how to promote your product in a successful manner. 3) If I had to design an assignment based off the knowledge I learned in this book, it would be for students to create their own social media account for their product. They could either use instagram or twitter or even facebook to help promote their idea. 4) What I learned most from this book was how much corporations use social media to gain traction and attention to themselves.

1) One time this semester where I have failed was when I applied for a position in an organization and didn't get it. 2) What I learned from this event was how important it is to try harder and work to improve from my mistakes. I also learned about becoming better prepared for events such as this one. 3) I usually handle failure by bottling it up inside myself and stuffing myself with sweets. This class has changed the way I view failure and has encouraged me to get out there more and become a riskier person. Sometimes with great risk comes great reward.

Existing Market - whats next in terms of products and services for my venture would be to lobby the Florida state government for permission in making solar panels. - Interviews      1. This person suggested also putting solar panels in peoples homes      2. The next person suggested lobbying city governments as well as state governments      3. The last person I interviewed suggested that I work with commissioners and real estate developers to pick out land. - What makes the most sense for my venture would be to build a program that would assist making solar panel farms. This would help out so many people who want clean energy. We would work with state and local officials to help out the process of the environment. Resources in my venture and analysis: 1. human capital- have a lot of workers 2. phone access- access to devices that connect us to clients 3. social media access- access to marketing on Facebook/Instagram 4. financial capital- money that I have worked for 5. networking- In contact with people who can help promote the idea. 6. academics- Have proper education 7. qualified workers- workers with proper education 8. social capital- hire people with great connections 9. young workers- motivated workers who are dedicated to the company 10. energized supporters- People are supportive of our idea. My top source is definitely having qualified workers who have the proper education skills to help build a successful company.
