Venture Concept 2

1) This venture I have selected contains great opportunities for success. There are millions of Americans who want access to clean energy sources and want to support them in order to have a more green environment. By lobbying to government officials asking for incentives for green technology this would not only make people's energy prices go down but it would also save the planet. This could solve some of the major pains that are currently associated with the global warming in the world. Our expectations are to start with a small group that purchases a large plot of land in the suburbs of a large major city and build solar panels. These solar panels should especially be extremely popular in Florida where there is usually a lot of sunlight. Selling these solar panel energy resources to different households could generate substantial income for our company while giving people the option to invest in clean energy at an affordable price. This will help clean up our ecosystems, which are extremely important to a lot of people in Florida, while saving people lots of money on their energy bills. The forces or changes in the environment that would create an opportunity like this for people would be the fact that more people want to invest in clean energy sources and lobbying to the state government could help us incentivize this industry which would give us the opportunity to make a large profit while cleaning up the environment by having people use clean energy resources. This market would be especially important in the state of Florida where the opportunity for solar energy is high. There are so many people who want clean energy sources and we are called the sunshine state for a reason. There is a great amount of opportunity in the state of Florida where solar panel should be a priority. The demographics for this is Floridians in medium to high income households who believe that climate change is an important issue and that investing in clean energy could help our planet. These families are also demographically wealthier than other families who wouldn't be able to afford clean energy resources. Customers are currently satisfying these needs by implementing solar panels on their roofs. However, this can be seen as tacky and ugly as having large screens on the top of your house might not be the most appealing thing for you to have. I believe that they would be more interested in investing in getting solar energy from a field where people can get their energy from. This would be easier for people to have so they could get their energy from there instead of having it come from the top of their roofs. These customers are very loyal to what they have now since its on their roofs but they would rather have to get it from a field. While they might not be able to remove the solar panels from their roofs, young homeowners who wan't to invest in affordable solar energy can do so without having anything on their roofs. This would make them loyal to what they could get versus what they have now which is not clean energy resources. This opportunity is very big as so many people in the future will want clean energy resources for their homes. This is a new trend as future homeowners clearly want a future with more green energy since they view green energy as a priority to protecting the planet in the twenty first century. This window of opportunity does have a great amount of time to be open as people will have no other way of getting their energy resources from clean resources other than having solar panels on their roofs. Its not like someone is going to put a wind turbine on their house. I believe that customers would switch over to this product since it will be immensely inexpensive due to the incentivization that comes with it after lobbying to the state of Florida's government. People will want to make clean energy a clear priority in this state as it will become more cost effective and less of a burden for the average household. This would not be hard to get them to switch as so many people will be interested in this project. They would want to switch instantly if its more affordable and could easily help out the environment. Currently, there are not too many competitors in this market as this has been an untapped world. The possible weaknesses or vulnerabilities of this situation are that it might be difficult to lobby to the state government for environmental incentives that would save them millions of dollars in environmental costs that they would have to pay for themselves. The role that logistics play in this project will be important as investing in solar panel farms near suburbs of large cities in Florida will help out the environment and be able to support the local environments. This business concept will clearly help out every single American household looking to invest in a less expensive and greener energy resource. The business would start with a small group of entrepreneurs and engineers who would collaborate on their scientific and business expertise and build a fantastic product together. This would be two groups of people who would look at the business aspect of the company while those who investigate and look into the solar panels and make sure they are safe. These two groups will work hard to promote a better system and would look out for whats best for the company.

2) I received a lot of positive feedback regarding my venture concept and a lot of people suggested that I not change too much about it.

3) My Venture concept changed as I included the inclusion of different perspectives. I included different demographics in this concept versus the first one.
